IndiGo, Gaya Airport, Bangkok Airport, Gaya Bangkok Flights, Direct Flights, International Flights, India Thailand Connectivity | aviationbizz.com
IndiGo is set to enhance international connectivity from Bihar with the launch of twice-weekly non-stop flights between Gaya and Bangkok, beginning October 26, 2026.
The new service will directly connect Gaya, home to Bodh Gaya, one of Buddhism’s most important pilgrimage destinations, with Bangkok, a major tourism and cultural hub in Thailand. The route is expected to make travel more convenient for pilgrims, tourists and leisure travellers while strengthening air links between India and Thailand.
The new flights are also likely to support Bihar’s tourism and hospitality sectors, creating greater opportunities for local businesses and boosting international visitor traffic.
The Gaya–Bangkok service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, subject to regulatory approvals. With this addition, IndiGo continues to expand its international network and strengthen connectivity between India and Southeast Asia.
