TASE Global inaugurates ₹150 crore aerostructures facility near Chennai

Trusted Aerospace Engineering (TASE Global), a global precision manufacturing firm with operations across India, the United States and Europe, on Tuesday inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur near Chennai.

Trusted Aerospace Engineering (TASE Global), a global precision manufacturing company with operations spanning India, the United States and Europe, has commissioned a new advanced manufacturing facility at Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The facility has been developed with an investment of ₹150 crore, strengthening the company’s presence in the global aerospace supply chain. The newly inaugurated plant is dedicated to the production of aerostructure components, marking TASE Global’s formal entry into the fast-expanding aerostructures segment. The company already supplies high-precision aero-engine components and medical-grade parts to international markets, and the expansion significantly broadens its aerospace manufacturing capabilities.

According to the company, the aerostructures market is currently valued at around $70 billion globally, driven by increasing aircraft production, fleet modernisation and rising defence programmes. With the new facility now operational, TASE Global aims to generate up to $100 million in revenue over the next three years, while also adding approximately ₹300 crore in additional annual revenue during the same period.

Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities

The Sriperumbudur unit has been equipped through a strategic partnership with DMG MORI, a global leader in machine tools and manufacturing solutions. As part of this collaboration, 30 high-precision machines have been installed at the facility, combining German engineering excellence with Japanese manufacturing technology. DMG MORI’s integrated solutions bring together CNC machining, automation, IoT connectivity and intelligent software, enabling high-accuracy and high-efficiency production that meets stringent aerospace quality standards.

Strengthening India’s Aerospace Ecosystem

DMG MORI, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, serves multiple high-technology sectors including aerospace, medical technology, automotive, energy and semiconductors. The company employs around 13,500 people globally, operates 17 production plants across Europe, Asia and the Americas, and has more than 300,000 machines installed in 44 countries. Industry observers note that TASE Global’s new facility reinforces Tamil Nadu’s growing role as a key aerospace manufacturing hub, while also supporting India’s ambitions to expand its footprint in global aerospace and defence supply chains. With this expansion, TASE Global is well positioned to cater to increasing demand from aircraft OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers worldwide, further strengthening India’s reputation as a destination for high-precision aerospace manufacturing.
