Saudia Receives First A321XLR with 24-Suite Premium Business Cabin | aviationbizz.com
Saudia has officially taken delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s fleet expansion and modernization plans. The aircraft is part of a larger order and is expected to enhance the carrier’s ability to operate long-haul routes with greater efficiency.
The new A321XLR comes with a premium-focused configuration, featuring a total of 144 seats. This includes 24 business class suites and 120 economy seats, making it one of the most spacious and luxurious narrowbody aircraft in operation today.
A key highlight of the aircraft is its advanced business class cabin, designed in a 1-1 layout. Each suite offers a fully flat bed, direct aisle access, and enhanced privacy, delivering a widebody-like experience on a single-aisle jet.
With an extended range capability of up to 4,700 nautical miles, the A321XLR allows Saudia to expand its network to new long-haul destinations across Europe, Asia, and Africa. It also enables the airline to efficiently serve “long-thin” routes while maintaining high levels of passenger comfort.
The induction of this aircraft reflects Saudia’s commitment to offering premium travel experiences while strengthening its global connectivity and operational efficiency.
