Ticker News has launched Ticker Air, a new weekly program dedicated to the global aviation industry. Hosted by journalist Ahron Young, the show will deliver the latest aviation news, industry developments and exclusive interviews with key figures from across the sector.
The weekly program will feature conversations with airline executives, aviation analysts and industry journalists, covering topics such as airline strategies, fleet expansion, aviation business trends, loyalty programs and developments shaping global air travel.
Commenting on the launch, Ticker News Chief Executive Officer Ahron Young said aviation has long been one of his passions and that Australia’s strong travel culture makes it an ideal base for covering the industry.
“As the aviation sector continues to grow, Ticker Air will provide regular insights into the issues that matter most—from airline business and travel trends to the evolving frequent flyer programs relied upon by millions of passengers,” Young said.
Young brings more than 15 years of aviation reporting experience to the program. His career has included reporting from Boeing’s headquarters in Seattle, covering the inaugural Qantas Perth–London nonstop service, and attending major aviation conferences in Miami and Geneva. He has also reported extensively on significant aviation events, including the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, the downing of Flight MH17, and the Boeing 737 MAX accidents and subsequent investigations.
Ticker Air is available on the Ticker News streaming network, the Ticker app and the company’s social media platforms.
Ticker News said its digital streaming platform reaches a global audience of more than 4.3 million viewers each month. Its content production division, Ticker Studios, creates branded content for organizations including Visa, Schneider Electric, AusIndustry, Hotspotting and SoSafe.
The launch of Ticker Air follows the introduction of several new programs by the network this year, including The Founder’s Method, Media Movers, Cannabiz In Conversation and Broker Business. Ticker News operates a production studio in Melbourne’s central business district and distributes its content through streaming partnerships with Comcast/Xumo, NewsWorld, Samsung TV Plus and LG TV Channels.
