Delta Air Lines has officially launched its new nonstop service between Hong Kong and Los Angeles, marking a strong step in expanding its transpacific network.
The inaugural flight departed Los Angeles on June 6 and arrived in Hong Kong on June 8, where it received a ceremonial water cannon welcome. The return service from Hong Kong to Los Angeles further highlighted the airline’s renewed commitment to connecting key global destinations.
The route is operated using the advanced Airbus A350-900, offering a premium onboard experience across multiple cabin classes, including Delta One Suites, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin.
This new service significantly enhances connectivity for travelers, providing seamless access to more than 30 onward destinations via Los Angeles. In addition to passenger convenience, the route also strengthens air cargo operations between the United States and Hong Kong, one of the world’s leading cargo hubs.
The launch reflects Delta’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region while reinforcing Los Angeles as a major international gateway.
