IndiGo to Operate Direct Guwahati–Bangkok Flights from October 27 | aviationbizz.com
IndiGo is set to strengthen international connectivity from Northeast India with the launch of direct flights between Guwahati and Bangkok from October 27.
The new service will provide passengers with a convenient non-stop connection between Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and Bangkok, supporting easier travel for business, tourism and other purposes.
The announcement was highlighted by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who welcomed the development as a boost to the region’s international air connectivity.
The new route is expected to improve access to Thailand for travellers from Assam and neighbouring northeastern states, while also creating greater opportunities for tourism, trade and business exchanges between the Northeast and Southeast Asia.
IndiGo’s expansion on the Guwahati–Bangkok sector further strengthens the airline’s international network and enhances Guwahati’s role as an important aviation gateway for Northeast India.
