New nonstop routes to Monterey and Philadelphia, alongside increased service to seven U.S. destinations, join Delta’s largest-ever LAX schedule and premium experience | aviationbizz.com
Next summer, Delta will operate the largest and most premium experience in its history at LAX. Together with its partners, Delta will offer more than 200 daily departures at the summer peak.
That scale, combined with Delta’s premium offering, transformed airport experience and deep roots in the Los Angeles community, further strengthens its position as Los Angeles’ #1 airline*.
“Los Angeles shapes, transforms, and influences the world, and LAX is proud to be the gateway connecting travelers to our city.” said Courtney Moore, Chief Revenue & Experience Officer at Los Angeles World Airports. “Our airline partners’ investment in connectivity helps strengthen Los Angeles’ position as a leading global destination. As we continue transforming LAX, growing our network alongside the airport experience is an important part of creating the world-class gateway Los Angeles deserves.”
A premium experience from curb to cabin
Beyond growing its network, Delta continues to strengthen its position in Los Angeles through industry-leading premium offerings and investments that enhance the travel experience. Delta offers more premium seats at LAX than any other airline and remains focused on elevating every stage of the customer journey.
Modernized airport experience: Delta’s $2.3 billion Sky Way at LAX transformed Terminals 2 and 3 into a connected, state-of-the-art campus designed to support the airline’s long-term growth in Los Angeles. Continued enhancements to wayfinding, security processing and terminal amenities make the experience more convenient and efficient for customers.
Dedicated Delta One experience: Delta One customers enjoy a dedicated Delta One Check-In experience, including private TSA security screening, creating a more personalized and streamlined start to their journey. Customers also have access to exclusive Delta One Lounges.
Growing lounge footprint: LAX recently became the first airport in Delta’s network to offer two Delta One Lounges, with an additional 11,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club opening in Terminal 2 in 2027.
Even more to come: By 2028, LAX will have four dedicated Delta lounge spaces, including two Delta One Lounges and two Delta Sky Clubs across Terminals 2 and 3, totaling more than 60,000 square feet and more than 1,000 seats. With the opening of the new T2 lounge, Delta will have nearly doubled its Delta One Lounge space at LAX.
Delta’s largest-ever LAX schedule
At its summer 2027 peak, Delta and its partners will offer more than 200 daily departures to nearly 70 destinations from LAX, giving Angelenos even more ways to connect around the world and throughout the U.S. Delta is also the only carrier at LAX serving all of the airport’s top 10 markets with multiple daily flights, giving customers greater choice and flexibility across the destinations they travel most.
Helping drive Delta’s growth are new nonstop routes to Monterey and Philadelphia, alongside additional frequencies across several key domestic markets.
